Museum of Ice Cream for NY Mag

If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all, so I won’t say much about this recent shoot I did for New York Magazine about the Museum of Ice Cream in SF. It’s $38 to go spend 45 minutes taking photos of yourself in different hyper-saturated sets in the basement of a former Armani Exchange, then you post those photos on the Internet. There is also a “sprinkle pool”, full of antimicrobial colored pieces of plastic, and a dedicated employee to sweep the sprinkles back into the pool. It felt like being stuck inside one of those strawberry candies. Some people seemed to enjoy it, and I am happy for them. The middle photo is of Maryellis Bunn, the founder, who is trying to make these the next Disneyland.
